Lois Marie (Thompson) Lytton went home to be with the Lord on September 4, 2023, just shy of her 92nd birthday. Lois was a proud wife, mother of 5, grandmother of 5, great grandmother of 6 and great great grandmother of 2. Lois was born on September 28, 1931, and lived most of her life in Tallmadge, OH where she was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church in Tallmadge since 1970. Lois retired from Thompson’s Drug Store in Kent, OH where she spent many years as a pharmacy technician.
Lois loved her family the most and was very proud of each and every one of her loved onesand their accomplishments. She shared with her family a love of archery and scuba diving, water skiing, girl and boy scouts, diamond dots, drag strip racing, racoons, and cats, reading, theater, crocheting, Irish music, puzzles, and camping- spending countless summers camping on KelleysIsland making lasting memories with her grandchildren. Lois was most happy being in her garden. She had the most beautiful flower beds that many passersby would stop and take photographs of.
Preceded in death by her husband, George B. Lytton, Lois is survived by her loving children: Rudolph Calderone (Candy), Debra Anderson (Tim), Ryan Calderone (Robin), Steven Calderone, Dean Lytton (Kelly)
Grandchildren: Cam Jellison (Bryan), Jeremy Tenney (Bri), Mindy Calderone (Emmy), Brooke Larkin (Joshua), Brittany Lytton
Great Grandchildren: Cheyenne Huth (Anthony), Raymond Fox, Kylee Tenney, Beau Tenney, Julius Calderone, Ronan Larkin
Great Great Grandchildren: Harley Huth, Mavis Huth
Calling hours will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, September 8, 2023 at the Adams Mason Funeral Home (791 E. Market Street), and again from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Saturday, September 9, 2023, where funeral services will immediately follow at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at The Old Tallmadge Cemetery located at 35 Southwest Ave, Tallmadge, OH 44278 (Reception to follow burial at St. Mark Lutheran Church located at 158 North Avenue, Tallmadge, OH 44278).
