Lola M. Hartford was born to the late Harriet Hartford on January 19, 1945, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She departed this life on Thursday, February 25, 2023, at 7:15 a.m. at Lane Regional Medical Center in Zachary, Louisiana.
Religious Affiliations: Lola was baptized at an early age.
Educational Background: Lola received her associate degree from Spencer Draughon Business College.
Employment: Lola retired from the Pointe Coupee Parish Sheriff's Office in 2010 after twenty-eight years of employment. She was a firm believer that hard work brings good success. Lola was very passionate about working hard and she did so until her physical health limited her ability to continue secular labor.
Legacy: Lola was joined in marriage to Matt Hartford, Sr. Together they shared precious memories with their children. She was happiest when surrounded by her family, church family, and friends. She
acquired the admiration and respect of all who knew her.
Hobbies: She was a member of the American Legion Society. Baking pies was her passion. Facebook was her morning ritual.

(Pastor Nolon) Carlin, Debra (Eddie) Robinson, and Regina Hebert all of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Annie Lofton of Simmesport, Louisiana, Ronald Hebert, Carolyn (Daren) Wells, and Angela Draper all of Lettsworth, Louisiana, Shannon (Kendall) Johnson of Prairieville, Louisiana, Earl W. (Vicky) Neal of Natchez, Mississippi, and Cecil Davis of Batchelor, Louisiana; sisters, Janice (Richard) Morris and Florence (Herbert) Carter; brothers, Larry, Lornary, Darnell, Michael, Leslie (Bessie), and William Hartford. Her newfound family, Alvin, Mackson, Nevada, Ned, Deloris, Henry, Ervin, Elizabeth, Donald, Annette, and Terry; a special aunt, Mildred Patrick;21 grandchildren, a host of great-grandchildren, a long-time special friend, Evangelist Emma L. Woods, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Preceded in Death by: husband, Matt Hartford, Sr.; son, Leslie Hebert; mother, Harriet Hartford; and siblings, Marion, Eddie, Alton, and Patsy Hartford.
