Lona Sue (Rinehart) Stewart
September 11, 1958 - October 28, 2025 - Clearfield
Lona Sue passed away, peacefully, surrounded by family at her home in Clearfield, Utah at the age of 67.
Lona Sue was born in Modesto, California to H.T and Shizue Rinehart. Lona Sue moved to Layton, Utah with her family where she grew up and moved to California where she met her life partner Michael Stewart and they were married on July 4, 2001.
Lona Sue is survived by her husband Michael Stewart, daughter Kristel Payne-Martin and son James Payne; step-children Cassey Stewart and Kelly Stewart; grandchildren Kourtney, Kasey, Madden, Makenna, Aspen, Andrina, Dayton, Josh, Kailey, Cameron and Raven; Great-grandchildren Saliyah, Willow, Payton, Cyrus; sister LaLana (Fernando) Ortega, brother Ira (Margie) Rinehart; sisters -in-law Kathy Villanova and Susie (Doug) Smuin mother and grandmother to all.
Lona Sue's greatest passion and love was spending time with her children and grandchildren, hosting family gatherings, going on her many trips to casinos where she always was a big winner, camping, hosting BBQs, and baking, which she loved especially at Christmas time, making cookies for everyone to enjoy.
Lona Sue was one of the most beautiful people in this world and had a heart of gold. She always had a way of making people feel special and touched. For everyone she loved and knew, life will not be the same without her. She will be forever loved and missed, and will always carry a place in everyone's heart.
Proceeded in death by her parents H.T & Shizue, daughter Brandi, nephew Billy and Aunt Maryester.
Special thanks to Maryanne, Symbii Hospice, Kathy Villanova and all those who were there for Lona Sue's final days

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, November 13th at 5:00 pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 935 State St, Clearfield, Utah.
