LITTLE MISS LONDYN EICHELBERGER Obituary
Londyn, affectionately known as, Lon Lon, Bunny, Stink, Bun Bun, Stinkadoodle, Lun Bun, Angel Child and BOSS, was born on September 16th, 2017, to William Eichelberger and Leslie Boyd in Indianapolis, IN.
Londyn was dedicated to the Lord at the early age of 7 months on April 22nd, 2018, by Pastor Jeffery A. Johnson Sr. With her Mommy and Daddy, she attended Eastern Star Church. Later, she began to attend Pleasant Union MBC and St. Luke MBC where she became an honorary member while she was in Cincinnati undergoing treatments. Londyn attended Purpose of Life Academy "When she wanted to" where she had many friends and loved to participate in all activities including plays, songs, and dances! Londyn had a work from home job with a specialty in bossing everyone around! Her top employee was her PawPaw and she made sure he knew who the BOSS was! Londyn was diagnosed with stage 4 Neuroblastoma Cancer at the age of 7 months, just after being dedicated. The Lord has been with her for the entire journey! She rang her 1st bell months later after treatment! At the age of 1, Londyn relapsed and faced the fight of her life! By the age of 2 she rang the bell at the finish of radiation and by the age of 3 she rang the bell at the end of her chemo treatments! For 3 years the cancer stayed away, but at the age of 6 she was diagnosed with her lung disease, Pulmonary Fibrosis.
Londyn was on oxygen for the last year of her life and had one of the best years of her life. She never let what she was going through, stop her from living! Through the journey, Londyn never complained! So, we followed her lead, and as Albert "Boonie" Weathers would say, "She fight, We fight" (Periodt!)
Londyn did some traveling in her short 7 years! She went to visit family in Georgia on multiple occasions, she's been to Destin, FL with her parents, to Las Vegas, NV, to Nashville, TN, a cruise to the Bahamas, Mackinac Island, MI to the beach, and when we weren't in Cincinnati for treatment, we would go just to have fun at the zoo, museums, parks, or just for some good food! Londyn loved to sing, dance, cook, TikTok, YouTube, play family games, swing at the park, drive her Jeep, get fresh with her hair, dress up, get her nails done, crafting and being a mother to her pup child Rocko. One of her hidden talents was her comedic ability to roast her Daddy! And a fun fact about Londyn is that she was signed as a model for the Helen Wells Modeling agency in Indianapolis. Her illness got in the way of her booking any jobs! But most of all, Londyn loved to spend time with her family as she maximized her time here on earth!
Londyn has found eternal peace alongside her Grandfather William M. Eichelberger, Great Grandfather Chorcia Day, Great Grandmother Marie Boyd, Great Aunt Linda Roy, Great Uncle James Boyd, and Cousin Serenity Wilson! All of whom she missed dearly!
Londyn leaves to cherish her Father William Eichelberger, Mother Leslie Boyd, Grandparents Constance Eichelberger, Denise Day, Archie Boyd, and Steven Grisby. God Mother Jasmine Hinton. Her siblings, Taisha Eichelberger, William Keno, Ashyra Eichelberger, and Madyson Crain! Her Aunts, Sandretta "Auntie Black" Taylor, Rosetta and Tuiwana Eichelberger, Lekesha and Yvette Boyd, and Jazmine Smith (Gerald Smith). Her uncles, Jeffery Wallace, Sr. (Pat Wallace) and Blake Boyd. Her special Auntie and caregiver Michelle Boyd! And best friend Leah! She also leaves to cherish a host of TT's, great aunts and uncles, cousins and friends!
