Lonnie D. Crouch Sr.

Lonnie D. Crouch Sr., 64, died at 1:20 p.m. April 28, 2013, at his residence. He was born April 28, 1949, in Lima to Lawrence D. and Laura L. Green Crouch, who preceded him in death. On Dec. 12, 1970, he married Linda D. Zimmerman, who survives in Lima. Mr. Crouch retired from Ford Motor Co. Lima Engine Plant. He enjoyed restoring classic cars, but most of all, he loved spending time with his family. Survivors also include two daughters, Loretta I. (Gary L.) Gootee, of Cridersville, and Lovetta D. Crouch, of Lima; a son, Lonnie D. (Ashley Vogt) Crouch Jr., of Lima; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Judy A. Wicker, of Lima; and a brother, Mike Crouch, of Lima. He was preceded in death by a brother, Ronnie G. Crouch. Services will begin at 1 p.m. Friday at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Shawnee Chapel. Pastor Pete Dove will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday and one hour prior to services Friday at the funeral home.
