Lonnie Ray Hodge, Sr., age 72, a resident of Brownsville, TN, passed away on Monday, July 15, 2024, at the Select Specialty Hospital – West TN in Jackson, TN. A Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2024, from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM at the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home in Brownsville, TN.
Lonnie was born on September 6, 1951, in Charleston, WV to Roscoe and Pauline Stover Hodge. He worked for over 30 years at Lasco Fittings in Brownsville. He was formerly from Dakota, WV and was a coal miner for Carbon Fuel Coal Company. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and being outdoors. He loved working on old cars and riding motorcycles. He loved his family and will be missed by them.
He is survived by his wife, Lynn Hodge of Brownsville, TN; three sons, Lonnie Hodge, Jr. of Brownsville, TN, Billy Hodge of Brownsville, TN, and Christopher Faught (Tiffany) of East Jordan, MI; one daughter, Stephanie Antwine (Tracy) of Jackson, TN; one sister, Linda Grounds of Goshen, IN; seven grandchildren, Hunter Hodge, Shelby Hodge, Hannah Hodge, Rachel Call (Blake), Abby Morris, Cecelia Faught, and Alexann Faught; nine great-grandchildren and one on the way.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roscoe and Pauline Stover Hodge; one grandson, Andrew Hodge and one sister, Delphie Falin. All arrangements and services are under the direction of the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home in Brownsville, TN.
