Linden / Dodgeville – Lora R. Liddicoat-Springer, age 46, of Dodgeville / Linden died unexpectedly doing what she loved on Friday, January 17, 2025 in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan from injuries sustained in a snowmobile accident.
She was born on April 9, 1978 at St. Mary's hospital in Madison, WI to Dean and Margery (Heins) Liddicoat. She attended Cobb Grade School through 8th grade and continued onto Iowa-Grant High School where she graduated with the class of 1996. She was united in marriage with her husband, Daniel Springer, on September 16, 2000, in her parent's backyard on Avenell Road. She then moved to Sunnyslope Road where her and Dan would build their life.

She had been very active within the 4-H groups of her nieces, nephews, and the boys. She was also a superintendent of the swine barn at the Iowa County Fair for many years. She was a member of the Utica Nora Rockdale Trailblazers Snowmobile Club and helped place the I-G Snocats trail. She was a retired member of the Parkside softball slow-pitch team in McFarland.
Lora's passions in life included her dogs, farming, snowmobiling, softball, her family and traveling. Her traveling adventures have taken her to Mexico, New Zealand (2x!), Colorado, Texas, Nashville, and the UP.
She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents, Gordon and Grace Liddicoat and Floyd and Wanda Heins, along with her paternal uncle, Harold Liddicoat and two cousins, Joseph Peters and Daniel Liddicoat.
She leaves behind her husband, Daniel Springer and the boys, Brandon and Blaine Springer; her parents, Dean and Margery Liddicoat; her brothers Michael (Tammy) Liddicoat and Kevin (Amy) Liddicoat; her sister Janet (Michael) Wilson; her parents-in-law, Ralph and Lisa Springer; her sister-in-law, Cara (Brian) Wolenec; nieces and nephews: Jon and Jess Wolenec, Mackenzie, Bennett, Easton, and Oliver Liddicoat, and Gavin and Hunter Wilson.
