Lora Leigh Power, age 70, of Hunnewell, MO, passed away on September 6, 2024, at Hannibal Regional Hospital in Hannibal, MO.
Lora was born October 5, 1953 in, the daughter of Claude Elbern and Henrietta Lucille (Snyder) Wright. She was united in marriage to John Frances Power on August 15, 1970. He survives.
Lora is also survived by her three sons, Timothy John Power (Jeannie) of Perry, MO, Travis Scott Power of Kirksville, MO, and Thomas Wayne Power (Dayna) of Shelbina, MO; 11 grandchildren, Johnathan Wayne Power, Dakota Scott Power, Leigha Cheyenne Lynch, Jeff Purdy, Kit Purdy, Appifany Purdy, Xavier Reign Wells, Luca Scott Dickerson, Olivia Noelle Ramos, Dracus Roger Power, and Isabelle Rhunea Power; great grandchildren, John Logan Kai Power, Amari Elizabeth Ealy, Iris Lynn Lynch, Sebastian Andrew Lynch, Braelyn Reign Wells, Alexa Renae Wells, Saniya Rayne Ramos, and Stiorra Elayne Ramos; brother, Elden Thomas "Buck" Wright of Kansas City, MO; and sister, Barbara JoAnn Salisbury of Rockford, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Heidi Rhunea Power; and brother, Elbern Wayne "Sonny" Wright.
In her younger years, Lora was a hard worker who enjoyed doing special treats for her kids to take to school. She enjoyed her bulldogs, camping, gardening, motorcycle rides, and sitting around the kitchen table drinking coffee with her loved ones. Lora made an impression on everyone who met her. Her greatest joy was being a wife, mother, and "Grammy".
Private family services will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to Neighbors Helping Neighbors.
