Lorellen Ticich

Lorellen Marie "Lori" Ticich, 81, of Marblehead, OH passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving daughters on Wednesday, October 1, 2025. She was born October 6, 1943 in Cleveland, OH the daughter of Donald Anthony and Anna Mae (Finnerty) Miller, Sr. Her family lived in Chicago and Newtown, PA and she was raised in Gates Mills, OH. She graduated from Regina High School in South Euclid and St. Rita's School of Nursing in Lima, OH. She was originally an Emergency Room Nurse at Lakewest Hospital in Willoughby where she met her husband Dr. Stephan M. Ticich whom she married on May 21, 1966 and he preceded her in death on May 14, 2024.

Together they lived in Mentor and Lorain. In retirement she and Dr. Ticich lived in Marblehead, OH and Seabrook Island, SC. Lori was a member of Lorain Colony Club, Rotary Club of Lorain, and W.A.M.A.D.A.S in Lorain. She was very active in the PTA helping with her children's school activities, especially marching band. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Marblehead where she was very active. She was also a volunteer at Magruder Hospital in Port Clinton. Lori was a very loving person caring for her family, her patients and her in-laws. She always made everyone, including her daughter's friends, feel like family. She was the hostess with the mostest. She was an avid "Indians" and The Ohio State Buckeyes fan.

Surviving are her daughters: Stephanie (Matthew) St. Marie of Elyria, OH, Karen Serrano of Lorain, OH, Heather (Brian) Sherman of Raleigh, NC, Kathryn Ticich of Marblehead, OH; grandchildren: Devon Serrano, Alexzander Sherman, Zachary Sherman, Jon (Pam) Buss, Jennifer Gammiere, Ryne St. Marie, Riley St. Marie; great-grandchildren: Gabriella, A.J., Andi, Blair and Eleanor; siblings: Alyson (Jerry) Strait of Avon Lake, OH, Donald (Louise) Miller, Jr. of Stow, OH, Marilyn (Donald) Lee of Mayfield Heights, OH, Carol (Keith) Perry of Beaufort, SC. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Dr. Stephan M. Ticich that she was happily married to for 58 years.

Visitation will be Saturday, October 4, 2025 from 4:00 – 7:00 pm at Neidecker, Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Peninsula Chapel, 7755 E. Harbor Rd. Lakeside-Marblehead, OH. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated by Father Joseph Szybka on Monday, October 6, 2025 at 2:00 pm at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 822 Barclay St. Marblehead, OH. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Stein Hospice, 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, OH or St. Joseph Catholic Church.
