LORENE ELIZABETH LAUBSCHER
LoRene Elizabeth Laubscher, loving wife, mom, grandma (“Gugu”), and friend, passed away peacefully on April 29, 2023, at the age of 78, with her family by her side.
She was born November 1, 1944, in Akron, Ohio, to parents Henry and Edith (Rice) Lamm, who preceded her in death. She is survived by her childhood sweetheart, best friend, and husband of 61 years, Richard “Dick” Laubscher; daughters, Mariann Laubscher (Jeff Baumann) of Oberlin, Amy Laubscher (Dave Ostrowske) of Uniontown; son, Richard “Rocky” (Holly) Laubscher of Akron; grandchildren, Hannah Laubscher (Blaine Klein), Sydney (Jake) Kruse, Owen Laubscher, Una Laubscher Baumann, Nev Laubscher; and brother, Robert “Bob” (Penny) Lamm of Akron.
LoRene put everyone before herself. She dedicated her life to her family, making sure they were supported in whatever they chose to do, and she loved her grandchildren more than anything. She had a wonderful sense of humor and brought fun to the lives of all who knew her. LoRene could take a little bit of something and turn it into everything beautiful.
