Lorene Arnett Montgomery, age 81, a resident of Salyersville, Kentucky; passed away Saturday, December 7, 2024 in Salyersville, Kentucky.
Lorene was born Feb. 25th 1943 in Salyersville, Kentucky the daughter of the late Prock and Nora Kimberlin Arnett. Also preceding in death is husband, Laution Montgomery, son, Brian Scott Montgomery, sisters, Lilly Arnett, Alene Farris, and Anna Mae Howard.
Mrs. Montgomery was a member of the Right Middle Fork United Baptist Church in Salyersville, Kentucky. Lorene was a homemaker and loved spending time with family and friends while setting on the front porch with a cup of coffee.
Left to mourn is one son, Roger Montgomery of Winchester, Kentucky, two daughters, Tammy Montgomery of Winchester, Kentucky, Amy Mesnard of Clyde, Ohio, two brothers, Glenn Arnett of Salyersville, Kentucky, Jerry T. Arnett of Salyersville, Kentucky, one sister, Myrtle Arnett Howard of Salyersville, Kentucky, grandchildren, Scott and Brian Cantrell, Brooklyn Hamm, Jackie and Jamie Mesnard, April Dawn Montgomery, seven great grandchildren, and special friends Loraine Howard, Howard and Kathy Connelley.
Funeral services for Lorene Montgomery will be conducted Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at 11:00 AM from the chapel of the Salyersville Funeral Home. Clergy Howard Connelley will deliver comforting words on the day of service. Interment will follow in the Montgomery and Back Cemetery in Salyersville, Kentucky. The family will welcome friends Tuesday, December 10, after 6:00 PM and anytime prior to the funeral service.
