Obituary
Mrs. Lorene Baker Noe age 84, of Mt.Vernon passed away on Wednesday October 4, 2023 at the Terrace Nursing Home in Berea after a short illness. She was born on May 23, 1939 in Rockcastle County the daughter of the late Robert Lee "Bob" and Wanda Joyce King Baker. She married the late Freddie Dale Noe Sr.in 1961, and enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and flowers. She held several occupations including the post office, and the Bank of Mt.Vernon, where she made many lifelong friends. Lorene was a member of the First Baptist Church in Mt.Vernon.
Survivors are: one son; Freddie Dale Noe Jr. One grandson; Mason Noe, and one former daughter-in-law; Lisa Noe also survives. Besides her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her brother and spouse; Eddie and Pat Baker of Ohio.
Funeral services for Mrs. Lorene Baker Noe will be conducted at 11 AM on Monday October 9, 2023 at the Cox Funeral Home with Bro. Dennis Wilder officiating. At Lorene's request the burial will be private.
Arrangements are by the Cox Funeral Home where friends may visit from 10 AM until time of service on Monday.
