Lorenzo Ramos

Funeral Mass for Lorenzo Ramos, age 88 of Seminole, Texas, will be celebrated Monday, February 10, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church with Father Joseph Thanavelil officiating. Burial will follow at Gaines County Cemetery. All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home.

Mr. Ramos was born in Ft. Stockton, Texas on March 2, 1936 to Anastasia and Manuel Ramos. He married Tommie Ramirez in Ft. Stockton, Texas on March 15, 1955. He was a Catholic and worked as an auto body mechanic and owned Ramos Body Shop for over 50 years. Lorenzo enjoyed being outside, cooking, scuba diving, and being with his family. He had a special quote saying, "if you can't do it right, don't do it at all."

Lorenzo Ramos passed away Thursday, February 6, 2025 at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one son, three brothers, and one sister. He is survived by his wife, Tomasa Ramos of Seminole; two sons, Rick Ramos and wife Del of Colorado, and Vincent Ramos and wife Evelyn of Oklahoma; three daughters, Sylvia Asebedo of Arlington, Texas, Diana Miller and husband Edwin of Andrews, Texas, and Teresa Gloria and husband Isabel Gloria, Jr. of Mathis, Texas; 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren.
