Lorenzo Serrano, 93 of Orlando, Florida passed away on August 11, 2025.
Lorenzo was born to Martin Serrano and Santa Mena on August 9, 1932. On December 30, 1961 he married the love of his life Carmen Fernandez. At age 39 he left Cuba with his wife Carmen and his children Maria Del Carmen and Lorenzo to find a better life for his family in the United States.
Lorenzo was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, playing dominos, and loved to go fishing. Lorenzo dedicated himself to his wife, children and family; he was always there when needed.
His love dedication and strength will never be forgotten, he will live in our hearts always.
He is survived by his children, Maria Espinosa and Lorenzo Serrano, grandchildren; Raúl V. Espinosa, Martin Espinosa, Jacqueline R. Serrano and a great granddaughter Reyna M. Espinosa.
Lorenzo was predeceased by his wife, parents and brother Pedro P. Serrano.
The family will receive friends on Monday, August 18, 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, East Orlando Chapel. A Funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 12:00 PM. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery.
