Loretta Nash Agee, Age 95, passed away Monday August 4, 2025 at the Gulf Pointe Plaza in Rockport, Texas
Loretta was born January 28, 1930 at home in Stillwater, Oklahoma, the daughter of William Ollie and Virgie Marie Nash. As a young girl Loretta attended school in Stillwater, Oklahoma. When Loretta was 17 the Nash family moved to Katy, Texas where Loretta attended high school. Loretta finished high school in 1948.
After high school Loretta married Wessie Agee, Jr. They were married August 8th, 1950. They celebrated their 70th anniversary in 2020. Wessie preceded Loretta in death November 2nd, 2020.
Wessie and Loretta were founders of Am-Tex Corporation, a water district out of Houston which they sold when Wessie retired. Loretta is survived by nephews and nieces, Gregg Nash, Craig Nash, Preston Nash, Ben Agee, Mechelle Mayers, Jeanne Harrison and their spouses and children.
A graveside service will be held Monday, August 11, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at the Forest Park Westheimer in Houston.
