Loretta Mary Belusko (Tolerico), 75, of Lexington, S.C., passed away Sunday after a long battle with cancer.
Loretta was born Oct. 30, 1947, to John and Mary Tolerico, in Hazleton. She was one of four children.
Loretta graduated from Hazleton Senior High School in 1965. Afterward, she started her cosmetology business, Loretta's Beauty Salon.
In 1968, she married Edward James Belusko. Loretta and Edward went on to have three children, Eric (Christine Eubanks), Alisha (Kel) Jansen and Amy (Mark) Awtry.
Loretta enjoyed working as a cosmetologist, raising her children and volunteering with their schools. She was the most generous woman, always giving freely of her time and love. Loretta placed family and friends above herself. After her husband died and her three children all married, Loretta devoted herself to her grandchildren, who were the light of her life.
Loretta was predeceased by her parents; her brother, Jack; and spouse, Edward Belusko.
She is survived by Eric, Alisha and Amy; and her grandchildren, Bella, Ansley, Jackson, Sierra and Brennan. She is also survived by her siblings, Mary (Frank) Konschnik and Thomas Tolerico.
A dedication service and celebration of life ceremony will be held at a later date at St. Peter's Episcopal Church, Greenville, S.C.
Memorials can be made to American Cancer Society or Interim Healthcare Hospice.
"Now is your time of grief, but I will see you again and you will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy." - John 16:22.
