Thomas J. Belusko

Thomas J. Belusko, 66, of Granite City, IL, passed away at 11:17 p.m. Tues. Sept. 3, 2024 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO.
He was born Dec. 14, 1957 in East St. Louis, IL a son of the late John J. and Victoria J. (Fornaszewski) Belusko.
On Aug. 1, 1998, he and Sandra "Sandy" J. Burns were married in Granite City. She survives.
Tom worked for Granite City Steel from 1975 until his retirement from US Steel. He was a lifetime member of SOAR – Steelworks Organization of Active Retirees, the Alton Chapter of Harley Owners Group "H.O.G" and the AMA – American Motorcycle Association. He had also been a member of A.B.A.T.E – A Brotherhood Aimed Toward Education. He enjoyed riding and building bikes as well as making beer and barbecuing. He could be seen at Homecoming parades in his homemade hand car. Tom was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church.
In addition to his wife Sandy, he is survived by his beloved dogs: Bubba and Sophie and many many friends, too numerous to acknowledge them all.
