Loretta Hall Bolin

Loretta Hall Bolin, 86 of McDowell, KY, passed away December 16, 2025 at Highlands ARH, Prestonsburg, KY. Born February 17, 1939 in Hi Hat, KY, she was the daughter of the late Verman & Melvina "Pet" Newman Hall. Loretta lived in IL from 1966-1997. She retired from AT& T, was a member of Pilgrims Rest Old Regular Baptist Church, served in the McDowell ARH gift shop, was a member of the McDowell Senior Citizens and loved rainbows & the American Flag. Loretta is survived by one son: Stephen Ray Bolin; one daughter: Lisa Renee (Noel) Aquino; two grandchildren: Samantha Renee Bolin & Jordan (Alexandra) Bolin all of Elgin, IL. One brother: Terry (Wanda) Hall of McDowell, KY; sisters: Eulavene Preston & Janet Bowling both of McDowell, KY; ex-husband: Herman Ray Bolin and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends who loved her dearly. Loretta was preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Phill Hall, Eldon Hall & Carl Gene Hall; sisters: Joyce Smith and Deborah Frazier and brother and sister in laws: Connie Hall, Willis Smith, Hobert Preston, Donnie Bowling & Roy Frazier.
Visitation after 6pm Thursday (December 18, 2025) and all day Friday (December 19, 2025) Nelson Frazier Funeral Home, Martin with nightly services starting at 6:30pm
