Loretta "Laurie" A. (Gacek) Leclerc, age 79, a longtime resident of Methuen, passed away peacefully at Tufts Medical Center, Boston on Sunday, November 10, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Paul A. Leclerc with whom she shared 54 years of marriage prior to his passing.
She was born in Lowell on April 17, 1945, and was the daughter of the late Francis and Mildred (Tebich) Gacek.
Laurie and her late husband were proud owners of the Royal Feast Potato Chip Company, which they operated for over 47 years before retiring. She enjoyed trips to the casino, Rockingham Park and shopping with her sister Shirley.
Laurie is survived by her loving children; MaryAnn Bobola of Exeter, NH, John Leclerc and his wife Nancy of Haverhill, and Paul Leclerc, Jr. of Hudson, NH; She was also the devoted grandmother of 5 grandchildren who will miss her dearly, Robbie Jr, Brady, Anice, and Blake Bobola, and Levi Leclerc. Her siblings; Francis Gacek and his companion Becky of Hampton, NH, Michael Gacek of Lowell, Eleanor Hebert of Sturbridge, and Shirley Stanley of Andover and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Laurie was predeceased by her granddaughter, Nikki Bobola, brothers; Mark and Steven Gacek, sisters-in-law, Giselle Gacek, Estelle Denver and 4 brothers-in-law, Leo "Ace," Norman, Tom Hebert and John Leclerc.
Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2024, from 9am to 11am at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Ave., DRACUT. Her graveside service will follow her visitation at the Holy Trinity Polish Cemetery, 155 Boston Rd., Lowell, MA.
