LORETTA MORONE, 87, of Jackson Twp., and formerly of Freehold Twp., passed away on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, surrounded by her family at Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus, Lakewood, NJ. She was born in New York.
Loretta was a fashion designer until she started her family, then was a stay at home mom until her sons were teenagers. She then returned to her career as a lingerie designer for several years.
She was a devout Catholic, a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
Loretta was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Angela Caifa; and by her husband, Ronald C. Morone in 2014. She is survived by her sons, Ronald Morone and his wife, Tracey of Lakewood Twp., Kenneth Morone and his wife, Valeri of Howell Twp., John Morone and his wife, Kelly of Tunkhannock, PA and Richard Morone and his fiancé, Kelly of Freehold; and by her 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Also survived by the loving Mladinov family.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her visitation from 2-4 and 6-8 PM on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at the GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ 08527. A funeral gathering will be offered at 9 AM on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at the funeral home. Her Funeral Liturgy will follow at 10 AM at St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, 935 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ. Interment will follow in St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, 299 Freehold Englishtown Rd., Freehold, NJ. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Loretta's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105, www.stjude.org/donate, and would be greatly appreciated.
