She was preceded in death by her parents Elmo and Bertha Manning, a son Donell Manning, granddaughters Aleisha Ferrell and Kenisha Manning, and her sisters Joyce Manning and Deborah Washington.
She attended CH Iron Elementary in Louisiana and Van Horn High School in Kansas City, Missouri.
Loretta was married to George Neal for 50 years.
She was employed at Murdock's Fresh Fish and Quality Seafood for 14 years.
Loretta loved to fish, cook, sing, dance and just have fun.
She departed this life on Tuesday, September 20, 2022.
She leaves to cherish her memories her husband George Neal, daughters Tameisha Ferrell (Almohn Ferrell), Shanice Neal, sons George Manning, Cameron Neal, Kenneth Manning (Nikkia Manning), sisters Gertie Wedlow (Joseph Wedlow), Patricia Peeler, and Mary Manning, 21 Grandchildren, 8 Greatgrandchildren, and a host of other relatives, family and friends.

Today is a somber day. We were sitting around Sunday dinner, taking about what we got a taste for, and some one said Fish. We long story short, I learned of MS Lorettas passing my feelings are hurt. Condolences to the families ,friends and whom ever got a chance to meet a very nice person.

I went to the fish market today and noticed that the fish lady was not at the register, I ask where she was and to my dismay I was told of her passing!
I´m still broken hearted about it.
I am totally sorry
May her memories be blessings to all who knew and loves her.

Words COULD NEVER express how grateful to God I am for placing you in my life. As my mother, my guide, my encouragement, my lifter and my example! YOU are PROOF that God sends angels to this earth and we are unaware lest He gives us revelation. He revealed your purpose in my life many years ago but NOW I see the complete picture! I WOULD NOT be the woman I am today had it not been for you and Daddy's selfless love for this broken black girl.....I love you so much Momma, THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING!!! Finally at rest.......

Omg. I had no ideal. Just leaving Murdocks & saw her pix on the door. Me & my husband will definitely miss Mrs. Loretta. She always bght joy to our shopping there. We would always have lil chats about our church choirs being that she wld always remind me that our Churches were Sister-Churches to each other. Rest In Power Sister Neal. Love Ya,
