Loretta K. Pente

Loretta K. Pente (née Palombo) of Blackwood, NJ, passed away on August 18, 2025, at the age of 88.

Beloved mother of Jeffrey Pente and beloved sister of Alexander and Elaine Palombo, Loretta was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was the proud and loving grandmother of Anthony, whom she adored beyond measure.

Loretta's life was filled with creativity, kindness, and a generous spirit. She was known for surprising family with thoughtful care packages, heartfelt cards, and unwavering love and support. She was a trusted confidante, always ready with a smile and words of encouragement.

Deeply proud of her Italian heritage, Loretta held close the traditions and values passed down from her mother, Rose, who ran Palombo's Bridals for many years. Loretta herself carried that same spirit of dedication and service throughout her life, including her years working in retail. Though she had a love-hate relationship with her Walmart family, she found joy in helping those who treated others with kindness, and she deeply valued her coworkers and the friendships she made there.

She had a gift for telling it like it was - always honest, straightforward and genuine, yet with heart. Loretta often wrote letters to celebrities and public figures to share encouragement, support, or a compliment when she felt it was needed most. Her compassion and boldness left a mark on everyone she encountered.

Above all, Loretta was a rock for her family and friends. She was dependable, loyal, and always ready to be there when needed. Her laughter, creativity, and generosity will be missed more than words can express.

She now joins her mother Rose and other loved ones in the next chapter of eternal peace.

There will be a graveside service on Friday, August 29, 2025 at 12 noon in the chapel at Calvary Cemetery 2398 Rt 70 West Cherry Hill, NJ 08002.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Loretta to The American Cancer Society.
