Loretta Ann (Cribbs) Reeger, 68, of Clarksburg, passed away on Saturday, March 22, 2025, in Conemaugh Memorial Hospital, Johnstown, from injuries sustained in a pedestrian accident on March 11, 2025.
She was born in Indiana on April 19, 1956, to the late Armour and Julia (Henry) Cribbs. She graduated from Apollo Ridge High School class of 1974, and upon graduation, joined the United States Marine Corps where she proudly served our country for the next 20 years until her retirement in 1994. After her retirement, she attended and graduated from IUP with a Bachelor of Arts degree in interior design. She loved crafting and making jewelry, she was well known for being a caring, loving person. She was a member of Saltsburg Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by her children, Brian and Richard Linn of North Carolina, and Brandy (Donald, Jr.) Stehley, of Utah, grandchildren Tristan Stehley, Chase Stehley, Andrew Linn, and William Linn II, sister Mary Heck, brother Armour (Lois) Cribbs, Jr., sister Ruth (Donald) Dustin, and Elaine (Andy) Gamble, numerous nieces and nephews, as well as numerous brothers and sisters in law.
Besides her parents, Loretta is preceded in death by her husband, John Forest Reeger, whom she married on November 8, 2003, and passed away 11 days earlier on March 11, 2025.
Friends will be received by the family on Friday, March 28, 2025, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM in the Bowser Minich Funeral Home, Indiana, and again on Saturday, March 29, 2025, from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 12:00 Noon with her pastor Dan Statler officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Indiana, where military honors will be accorded.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Saltsburg Presbyterian Church, 517 Salt Street, Saltsburg, PA 15681.
