Lori Lynn Brenneman, age 52, of Newbern, TN, left this Earthly world on September 19, 2025, at Jackson-Madison Regional Hospital in Jackson, TN.
Lori was born on May 11, 1973, in Erie, PA, to Dean and Mari-Lynn (Engle) Slayton, who survive her in Port St. Lucie, FL. On June 22, 2017, she married Russell C. Brenneman Jr., who survives her in Newbern, TN.
Lori was a 1991 graduate of Lima Senior High School. She dedicated her life to raising her three children, whom she loved dearly. She took pride in recently getting her adjustor's license, and she had been an insurance adjustor for the past three years. She enjoyed tending to her garden, and she adored her cat. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, and grandmother. She will be sorely missed.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she is survived her children, William Briley, Dean (Kathryn) Briley, Alexandra "Alex" Briley, her step son, Christian Thomas Brenneman, her grandchildren, Cameron, Colson & Caden Briley, her special "son", Nicholas Boggs, her siblings, Sean (Susan) Slayton and Lisa (Mike Szymanski) Poe, her sister-in-law, Bobbie Jo Brenneman, and several beloved nieces and nephews.
A Catholic homily service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, September 26, 2025, at Chiles-Laman Funeral Home - Shawnee Chapel. Father Mike Sergi to officiate the service. Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM on Friday, September 26, 2025, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Lori's honor may be made to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
