In Loving Memory of Lori Ann Carbone April 4th, 1966 – April 16, 2025
Lori Ann Carbone, 59, of Monroe, NY, passed away peacefully on April 16, 2025. A radiant soul with a heart of gold, Lori lived a life devoted to compassion, family, and the wellbeing of animals.
Lori was the beloved daughter of Joseph and Jeanette Carbone, and a treasured sister to Tom Carbone, Joe and Christine Carbone, and Gina and Christopher Diorio.
She was the proud and loving aunt of seven nieces and nephews-Zachary, Michael, Noelle, AJ, Nick, Alexa, and Christina-each of whom she supported unconditionally and celebrated with unwavering pride. Her family was the center of her world, and she took great joy in nurturing their dreams and milestones.
A lifelong animal lover, Lori was a devoted "dog mom" whose kindness extended to animals of all kinds. She was a passionate advocate for rescue pets, donating regularly to local shelters and volunteering her time to support their missions. Her greatest dream was to open a dog grooming clinic, where animals could receive care and love.
Lori's legacy is one of generosity, hard work, and fierce loyalty. She was known for her big heart, infectious laugh, and the way she lit up every room she entered. Whether caring for a rescued pup or cheering on her nieces and nephews, Lori lived with purpose and love in every step.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Lori's life and spirit: Visitation: Friday, May 16th, 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM Joseph W. Sorce Funeral Home Inc. 34 North Summit St., Pearl River, NY 10965 Funeral Mass: Saturday, May 17th, 10:00 AM – 10:45 AM St. Anthony's Shrine Church 36 West Nyack Rd., Nanuet, NY 10954 Inurnment to follow: Saturday, May 17th, 11:00 AM – 11:15 AM St. Anthony's Cemetery 36 West Nyack Rd., Nanuet, NY 10954
