In Loving Memory of Lori Anne Cole-Weber
December 24, 1957 – April 19, 2025
Lori Anne Cole-Weber was born on December 24, 1957- a Christmas Eve gift to the world. On April 19, 2025, she went to her eternal reward, surrounded by her beloved family. In the days leading up to her passing, she was uplifted and comforted by the support of many devoted friends who stood by her throughout her illness.
Born in Boise, Idaho, Lori moved to Oregon with her family when she was just a year old. She grew up in the small town of Glide, where she blossomed into a bright and determined young woman. In 1976, she graduated fourth in her class from Glide High School and later earned her associate's degree from Umpqua Community College. Her intelligence and strong work ethic led her to a long and respected career as a Title Examiner at Ticor Title, where she worked with integrity and precision until her retirement two years ago.
Lori's passions extended far beyond her career. She dedicated much of her spare time to the Woodburn Drag Strip. Since 1995, she proudly served as the team captain and led the booster club with enthusiasm and devotion. Her energy, leadership, and commitment left a lasting mark on the racing community. She was also a longtime and active member of DRAW - the Drag Racing Association of Women - through which she continued to give of herself in service to others.
One of Lori's most beautiful qualities was her thoughtfulness. She had a remarkable memory for the birthdays, anniversaries, and special moments of those she loved. Her cards, notes, and letters always arrived on time, filled with kindness and care. In a world that often moves too fast, Lori made time to remember and honor the people in her life. It's no surprise she was deeply loved by so many.
She had a quiet but unwavering presence-a source of steady strength, loyalty, and love to her family, friends, and community.
Lori is preceded in death by her dear mother, Darlene; her cherished nephew, Nicholas Faas; and her beloved grandniece, JoLynn Dillon.
She is survived by her loving husband, Jerry Weber Jr., and their two cherished fur-kids, Honey and Shadow; her father, Larry Cole; her sisters, Bonnie Root (Phill) and Kathy Cole; and her brothers, Russ Cole (Kathleen) and Wulf Cole. Lori is also remembered fondly by her nieces, Tami Dillon, Heather Green, and Sydney Cole; her nephews, Bryan Root, Zachary Edwards, Christopher Edwards, and Gabriel Edwards; as well as many beloved grandnieces and grandnephews.
A celebration of Lori's life will be held on May 2nd at 1:00 PM at the Grand Ronde Tribal Gym, located at 9615 Grand Ronde Road, Building I.
Lori's legacy of kindness, dedication, and heartfelt connection will continue to inspire all who were lucky enough to know her. She is deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
