Lori A. Conner (nee Weynand), age 63 of Slinger passed away peacefully on Monday, January 5, 2026 surrounded by her family. She was born March 29, 1962 in Milwaukee to Gerald and Linda (nee Kuehn) Weynand.
Lori was married to Richard Giese from 1981 until 1985. She then married Daniel Conner on December 9, 1991 and even though they separated, they reconnected and still cared very deeply for each other.
Lori was raised in Grafton and graduated from Grafton High School with the class of 1981. She worked at Pace Industries for many years before starting at RegalWare in West Bend in 2020.
She loved to take motorcycle trips and enjoyed going to visit her mother and sisters in Alaska. Lori was an adventurous woman who enjoyed fishing on Lake Michigan and spending time outdoors. She was a crafty person and was very good at needlepoint. Lori also loved to bake and enjoyed making treats for her family and coworkers.
More than anything Lori loved being a mom and grandma.
She is survived by her 3 children: Matthew (Meghan) Giese of Waterford, Nikki (Greg) Nickel of West Bend and Andy (Savannah) Conner of Port Washington, 4 grandchildren: Madalyn Giese, Maralyn Giese, Miles Nickel and Lucas Nickel and Baby Conner on the way and her loyal and loving dog, China.. She is further survived by her siblings: Jeffrey (Vicky) Weynand of Smiths, AL, Greg (Shelly) Weynand of Mapleton, IL, Lisa (Lewy) Lewin of West Bend, Jennifer (Rich) Richardson of Anchorage, AK and Ericka Weynand of Anchorage, AK and was the beloved aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Lori was preceded in death by her parents, Gerald and Linda Weynand.
Memorial service will be held at KettleBrook Church in West Bend, WI on January 17th, 2026.
Visitation open to the public will be held from 9:30Am-11:00 Am, with a private memorial for family and close friends from 11:00Am-12:00Pm.
