Lori Dotson Obituary
Lori was the devoted and loving wife of 44 years to Johnny Dotson and the perfect mother to Sara Ann Dotson Hopson and Johnny Michael (Lora) Dotson. Lori, known by her favorite title of all, Mammy, leaves behind her beloved Peanut, Atlas Reid, and granddaughter, Willow Anne. Lori served the Lord with all her heart and was a member of the Woodman Community Church.
Lori leaves behind a family she was so proud to be a part of: Ronda (Charles) Rife, Susie (Ken) Wood, Buddy (Debbie) Gannon, Robyn (Monty) Blankenship, Lesa (Clay) Campbell, Bobby (Anita) Gannon, Lana (Hillard) Cecil, Kelly Gannon, Michael (Laura) Gannon, Renae Adams, Misty (Chris) Biliter, Robert (Terrionna) Gannon. She also leaves behind one grand puppy, Mr. Wook.
Lori is survived by a community of 3 Dollar Stores, one of which will probably close soon since she will no longer be couponing on Saturday mornings. She leaves a host of family and friends who will miss her contagious laugh and kind heart. To know Lori was to love her, and for those of us who were lucky enough to know her, we will miss her for the rest of our lives.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her name to Donald Tallon (Venmo:@pikespals) to save the dogs of Eastern Kentucky.
Obituary lovingly written by the family
The Family will begin receiving friends on Sunday, December 8, 2024, in the Kimper Church of God, 4278 Upper Johns Creek, Kimper, KY 41539, between the hours of 6:00 p.m. -10:00 p.m. with a special service being held at 7:00 p.m.
Honoring services will be held on Monday, December 9, 2024, at 12:00 p.m., with Pastor Otis Blankenship, Pastor Robert Coleman, and Bro. Eddie Dotson officiating. Lori will be laid to rest in the Dotson Family Cemetery of Stopover, KY, with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
