Kingsville- Lori J. Wadding, 62, passed away unexpectedly at UH-Cleveland Medical Center on Thursday, September 26, 2024.
She was born on February 6, 1962, in Conneaut, Ohio the daughter of Gerald V. and Veryl J. (Colby) Hills. Lori graduated from Edgewood High School Class of 1980. Lori worked at Kingsville 90 truck stop in her younger years, where she met the love of her life, Keith Wadding and they would marry on August 27, 1988. She then went on to Rite Aid where she was employed for 30 years, until they closed their doors.
Lori enjoyed playing her keyboard, crocheting, doing word search puzzles, listening to music and also loved to collect harp seals and hummingbirds. Her heart was full, when she spent time with her grandchildren, whom were her reasoning and the light of her life.
Lori is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Keith Wadding; children, Erin (Branden) Porter and Cory (Jenna) Wadding; grandchildren, Jaxson and Briceson Johnston, Elizabeth Porter, Arial and Aurea Wadding; her siblings, Robert (Rebecca) Hills, Melody Snelling, Tracy (Pat) Clower, Jerry (Geralyn) Hills, Diane Bennett and Kathy Heintz; and MooCow the cat, that loved to bully Lori, and ultimately chose her as her human.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Donald R. Hills; sister, Terry Hills-Beer; and her beloved grand dog and partner in crime, Sebastien Biff.
Calling hours will be held, Friday, October 4, 2024 from 5PM-7PM at Thompson-Smith-Nesbitt Funeral Home, 345 Main St., Conneaut, where a service will follow at 7:00PM.
