Lorita is survived by her siblings, Benedict (Marla) Black Elk, Owen (Dawn) Black Elk, Calvin (Theresa) Monroe, Iva Black Elk and Avis Monroe; stepdaughter, Maxine Running Hawk; hunka daughters, Marlene Bear Stops, Raylene Ochoa, Ranae & Marian Bagola, Cynthia Johnson, and Louella Youngman; hunka sons, Jr. (Donna) Whalen and Dwayne (Rose) Stenstrom; hunka sister, Bernice White Hawk; nieces/nephews, Faye Richard, Justine (Mike) Carlow, Carrie, Jessica, Iva, Luwayne, Tara and Lillian, Kristan, Kenneth and Clifford Black Elk, Jenny (Ed) Stover, Wilma Returns From Scout, Kathy Eagle Hawk, Margaret and Marianne Roan Eagle, Iris (Richard), Artigene and Vina White Hawk, Quincy Red Feather, Joe Sierra, Sr., Bruce Black, Duane "Canupa" Martin, Sharon Two Bulls, Ann Two Bulls, Mary Two Bulls, and Frank Two Bulls, Jr.; grandchildren, Antoinette Janis, Marguerite Janis, Trinity Janis, Rhea, Kyana, Ryel, and Katelyn Running Hawk; great granddaughter, Aria Janis; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Lorita was preceded in death by her parents, Wilson Black Elk and Sarah Walking Elk; husband, Floyd Bruce Running Hawk; siblings, Webster Poor Bear, Thomas Poor Bear, Loren Black Elk, Wilson "Wally" Black Elk, Stella Black Elk, and Clifford Black Elk, Sr.; nephews, David "R.C." Janis, Benedict Black Elk, Jr., Bert "B.J." Montileaux, and Brent Two Bulls; niece, Mariah Montileaux; and grandsons, Nicholas Janis, and Jonathon Haas.
Pallbearers will be Ben Black Elk, Chris Black Elk, Kenny Black Elk, Calvin Monroe, Louis Trey Janis III, and Joan Spotted Bear.
Honorary pallbearers will be All Whalen Families, Janis Families, Running Hawk Families, Two Bulls Families, Titus Families, Mousseau Families, Alice Running Hawk,
All Sundancers from Grandma Bernice's, and All Friends & Relatives-near and far.
