LORRAINE "LORRY" KONCZAK

LORRAINE "LORRY" KONCZAK, age 90, of Wisconsin Rapids, WI, passed away at Arborwood Lodge in Wisconsin Rapids, WI on Sunday, March 12, 2023. A graveside service will be held at 11:30am on Thursday, March 23, 2023 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Cemetery in Lublin, WI with Father Vijay Kumar Madani officiating.
Lorraine Konczak was born on October 7, 1932 in Lublin, WI, the daughter of Joseph and Stephanie (Michno) Konczak. She was raised on a farm until the age of 10, and then moved to Chicago, IL with her family. After completing her education, Lorry worked various jobs, including many years as a cookie packager for the Salerno Cookie Factory in Chicago. She eventually moved to Wisconsin Rapids with her parents, and resided there for over 40 years.
Lorry participated in activities at the Senior Center in Wisconsin Rapids and had many interests. She especially loved listening to polka music and spending time with her pet dog, Kasia.
Lorry is survived by three siblings: Lucille Maryniw of North Lake, IL, Lee (Shirley) Konczak of The Villages, FL, and Patricia Potter of Mt. Pleasant, WI; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Virginia Konczak in infancy.
The family of Lorry would especially like to thank the staff at Arborwood Lodge for the wonderful care and loving attention they gave her during the many years she called Arborwood home.
