SPRINGFIELD
Lorraine Lemelin, 94, passed away on June 2, 2025. She was the daughter of Euclid and Lena (Allard) Rushia. In the 1950's, she attended St. Anne's Academy in Marlborough, MA. In her spare time, Lorraine enjoyed painting, making Kumihimo necklaces, camping and traveling with her husband.
Lorraine is survived by her son Lawrence; her daughter Margo; 6 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; her sister-in-law Barbara and special people Linda and Pat. She was predeceased by her husband of 56 years, Al who passed away in 2010 and her brother Harvey in 2008.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Monday, June 9, 2025, from 9a – 10:15a at Forastiere Smith Funeral Home, East Longmeadow. Followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11:30a at Holy Name Parish, Springfield. Committal services will be at 1p at the Mass. Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, Agawam.

I was her contractor, thur the years she told me about her beautiful family and amazing husband Al , as I got to know Lorraine she was this beautiful woman that put everyone first and was with the biggest Heart and smile, but very Wordly we will always have a void in our hearts, God Bless my true friend Dan Pellerin
