Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 23, 2021 at Johnson Funeral Home in Effingham. Burial will be in Loy Chapel Cemetery, rural Effingham. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Friday prior to the service at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Loy Chapel Cemetery. Online condolences may be shared at www.johnsonandsonsfh.com.
Lorraine was born December 8, 1949, in Hammond, IN, the daughter of Earl and Inez Thomas. She married Randall K. Loy on September 14, 1968. He preceded her in death on October 13, 2017.
Lorraine enjoyed cooking and baking for the family. She liked to indulge in a good book and spend time with her little Chihuahua.
Lorraine is survived by her daughter, Annette (David) Maddox of Blountsville, AL; son, Jessie (Trisha) Loy of Mount Juliet, TN; 4 grandchildren, Bonnie Martin, McKayla Risley, Jordynne Loy, and Kelsi Loy; 4 great-grandchildren; and siblings, John (Mary) Thomas of Waxahachie, TX, and Pat (Gaylord) Loy of Effingham, IL.
