Lorraine Maher Obituary
Lorraine M. Maher (née Bracaglia), born on May 12, 1947, in Bloomfield, New Jersey, passed away unexpectedly on May 9, 2025, in Hazlet, New Jersey, at the age of 77.
Lorraine, a lifelong New Jersey resident, graduated from Bloomfield High School and was married to her high school sweetheart, Edward Maher. Together, they had four children. Before retiring, she was employed at several upscale hotels, where her warm personality and sense of humor made her a beloved figure.
A devoted Catholic, Lorraine was active in her faith and found great comfort in her beliefs. She enjoyed listening to music, cooking, and spending time with her family and friends. Known for her love of the Jersey Shore, Lorraine's happiest moments were often spent by the beach, surrounded by friends and loved ones.
Lorraine is survived by her sons, Kevin, Francis, and William; her grandchildren, Daniel, Ramy, Razwan, Gabriella, and Sophia; and her community of friends who will miss her dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary and Julius Bracaglia.
Lorraine's life was a testament to the joy of family, the solace of faith, and the value of community. Her memory will be cherished and kept alive in the hearts of those who loved her.
Details regarding memorial services are pending and will be announced later. The family invites you to leave a letter of condolence by selecting the Tribute/Guestbook link above.
