Lorraine Maloy, 88, of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away on January 11, 2025. She was born on December 20, 1936, in Stony Creek, New York.

Lorraine married the love of her life, Carl Daniel Maloy, on June 16, 1956. Their union lasted 54 years, and she cherished him deeply and spoiled him completely until his passing. Lorraine was a devoted mother to their four children— Robert, Debra, Daniel and Calvin.

Lorraine (Lori) volunteered in two different Roman Catholic Dioceses (in NY, and TX) as a religious education teacher and mentor. She had a unique way of bring the teachings of the Church to students both young and old. She was also especially helpful in grief sharing and those looking to enter the faith at St. Joseph’s Catholic Community.

Lorraine was preceded in death by her husband Carl, and her son Daniel. She leaves behind Robert, Debra, and Calvin—as well as 10 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was affectionately known as ‘mom’ or ‘grandma’ to everyone she met, all of whom will carry on her legacy of love and devotion.

Lorraine’s spirit, kindness, and nurturing heart will be missed by all who knew her.

Service details will be released as soon as they are finalized.
