Lorraine Perry Obituary
On August 22, 1980, she married the love of her life, Charles A. Perry, at Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Elmira.
For several years, Lorraine worked as a secretary in the law offices of David Brockway in Elmira. She later went on to work for Family Support in Elmira.
Lorraine enjoyed playing cards, trips to the casino and she was a fantastic cook. She was well known for her baking. A diehard NY Yankees fan, she loved sports and she shared that with her children. She never missed her children's ball games. More than anything, she cherished the time that she shared with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her son, John Arthur Personius; her brothers, Paul Von Rapacki, Richard Von Rapacki, Sheldon Von Rapacki; her sisters, Margaret Andrews, Virginia Garris; and her first husband, Norman Richard Personius.
She is survived by her loving husband, Charles A. Perry of Elmira; her children, Norman Richard (Marjorie) Personius, Jr. of Elmira, Ronald James Personius of Elmira, Dennis Allen Personius of Elmira, Michell Marie (Eric) Murphy of Elmira, Daniel Scott Personius of Elmira, Jeffrey Bryan (Panela) Personius of Elmira, Gregory Gene (Angel) Personius of South Waverly; her step-daughter, Jacqueline (Ronald) Frisbe of Spencer; her step-son, Kevin Kirk (Holly) Perry of Spencer; her nine grandchildren; and her twelve great-grandchildren.

My condolences to the family. As a young child, I lived next door to Lorraine on West Hudson Street and was friends with her children. I remember her as a nice woman who would make grilled cheese sandwiches when I was at the house.

So sorry to hear of Lorraine's passing. Although I had lost contact with Lorraine, I remember her as a dedicated, diligent, reliable and uplifting addition to the office and to the Family Support Program. She must have been so proud of her huge extended family. Peace to you all.
