Lorraine O Plante

Lorraine O. Plante, 95, of Dover passed away peacefully on Monday, October 23 at Rochester Manor surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on June 16, 1928, in Dover, to Albert and Beatrice (Dugas) Cornellier.
Lorraine was always associated with her incredible work ethic during her younger years and carried it through to her adult life. As with the times, Lorraine started working at a young age in a shoe factory, working with her hands was a trend throughout her life. She eventually went back to school and received her diploma which allowed her to further continue her education to obtain her LNA credentials to pursue her career at St. Ann's. Some of her favorite pastimes were knitting and crocheting, playing the organ, and sharing time with friends & family over a nice cup of tea. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
Lorraine was preceded in death by her husband Louis Plante; siblings Roger Cornellier, Ronald Cornellier, Richard Cornellier, and Jean (Cornellier) Laughton.
Survivors include daughters Linda Poisson of Dover and Lorna-Jean Zucaro of Somersworth; brother Albert "Tootsie" Cornellier of Tampa, FL; sisters Jackie Goodwin of Rochester and Gerin Forbes of Rochester; 4 grandchildren Amy-Marie Kaussner of Seabrook, Lori-Ann Poisson of Somersworth, Jody-Lynn Cook of Rochester, and Robert Badar Jr of Somersworth; 5 great grandchildren and 27 nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff at Rochester Manor for their outstanding care.
Visiting hours will be Saturday November 4, 2023, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm followed by the funeral at 12 pm at the Tasker Funeral Home 621 Central Avenue Dover, NH 03820
