Lorraine Blanche Schulte

Lorraine Blanche Schulte (Ureel) of Sterling Height passed away Saturday, December 13, 2025 at the age of 93.
Lorraine was born on October 30, 1932 in Detroit, Michigan to Maurice and Mabel (Schmidt) Ureel. On February 3, 1951, Lorraine married the love of her life, Bernard Schulte at St. Clement Catholic Church in Centerline; they were married 63 years when Bernard passed away in 2014. Lorraine was a devoted mother, staying home to raise her and Bernie's six children. She was a longtime member of St. Isidore Catholic Church and was proud of her faith. Bernie enjoyed tinkering on lawn mowers, fixing anything and everything and gardening. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, who will be deeply missed.
Beloved wife of the late Bernie; loving mother of Larry (Vicki) Schulte, Tim (Pat) Schulte, Laurie (Bill) Foy, Mike (Stefani) Schulte, Lisa (Keith) Light and the late Jerry Schulte; cherished mother-in-law of Dorcas (Harold) Mertz; grandmother of fourteen; great-grandmother of many; and sister of James, the late Marilyn, Tom (Desta) and Dan (Debbie).
Visitation for Lorraine will be Wednesday, December 17, 2025 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Hauss Funeral Home, 47477 Romeo Plank, Macomb Township and Thursday, December 18, 2025 from 9:30 a.m. to the 10:00 a.m. funeral at the funeral home. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Township.
