In Loving Memory Of
On the morning of February 13, 2025, at 8:37 a.m., Lorretta Gail Petty left this world, but not without leaving behind a lifetime of memories, laughter, and love. Born on October 26, 1977, in Tampa, Florida arriving two months early at just two pounds and with only one kidney, she came into this world a fighter and remained one every single day of her life.
Lorretta was a force to be reckoned with a feisty, spirited, and wild soul who brought adventure wherever she went. She had a fearless heart, an unmatched sense of humor, and a passion for life that was contagious. Whether she was rocking out, belting her heart out at karaoke, embarking on unforgettable (and often slightly chaotic) excursions, or standing up fiercely for those she loved, Lorretta lived unapologetically and with great purpose. She was a protector, a defender of what was right, and above all, a deeply devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her loving husband, Jason Petty; her beloved children, Johnathen, Joshua, Christina, and Joshua; and the ones who held her heart most dearly-her grandchildren, Beau, Sebastian, and Ollivander; and sister Dorothy. Though her absence leaves an unfillable void, her family finds comfort in knowing she is reunited with the many loved ones who went before her, including her parents, Wayne and Betty; her siblings, Glenda, Garrett, and Barbara; and the precious grandbabies she now gets to hold in her arms.
Lorretta's legacy is one of fierce love, unbreakable bonds, and a life lived to the fullest. She will be deeply missed never but never forgotten.
