Lorry Williams

Lorraine Williams, age 59 of Fayetteville, NC passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at home with her family by her side.
Lorraine was born on November 16, 1963 in Fort Bragg, NC to Hocutt Williams and Margaret Mobley Williams. She was a graduate of UNC Chapel Hill where she earned her Bachelors Degree in Journalism. Lorraine was passionate about her career as a journalist with Fayetteville Observer and City View publications. She loved to travel, dance and enjoyed spending time at the beach.
She is survived by her mother, Margaret Williams of Fayetteville, NC; her sister, Linda Hensley and her husband Kelvin of Fayetteville, NC; two nieces: Jessica Hensley and Kelsey Hensley both of Fayetteville, NC and a great-nephew, Grayson Hensley. She was preceded in death by her father, Hocutt Williams.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Woody Griffin officiating at Adcock Funeral Home Chapel. The family will be receiving visitors one hour prior to the service at Adcock Funeral Home. Inurnment will follow at Riverview Memorial Gardens in Spring Lakes, NC.
