Born and raised in Lillington, NC, Kevin was a loving father, brother, and all around good man. He sadly passed away on Tuesday, October 14, 2025.
Kevin will always be remembered as being a hard worker, and he worked almost 25 years as an Auto Mechanic. He loved to work with his hands. Kevin was a generous man and loved to help those in need. He was a volunteer firefighter for many years. Kevin loved the Lord, fishing, hunting, the outdoors, and his family, of course. He always said that his kids were the best thing that had ever happened to him. He was an amazing father. He will be missed for his sense of humor, his love of sports, his taste in music, his leadership, and his stoic presence.
Kevin is survived by his daughter Emma Lynn Johnson of Fayetteville, Kevin Lee Johnson Jr. of Sanford, brother Timothy Wayne Johnson and wife Robin Johnson of Broadway their daughters Brittany Kirk and Amber Johnson of Broadway, Tonia Michelle Johnson Youssfi and husband Lee Youssfi of Fayetteville her children Tonya Marie Williams-Buchanan of Virginia, Bruce Randall Williams Jr of Sanford, and Zachary Allen Powers of Carthage, brother Joseph Aaron Medlin and wife MaKenna of Sanford their daughters Josie Lane and Anna Kate of Sanford. Kevin is preceded in death by his infant son Samuel Lee Johnson, father Neill Edgar Johnson, mother Sandra Gail Medlin, and nephew Timothy Neill Johnson.
Visitation will be Saturday, October 25th, 5 to 7 pm at Adcock Funeral Home and Crematory
