Lotis Marie Hart (Stamper), age 90, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 8th, 2025, at Greeneville Community Hospital in Tennessee. She was born in Ava, MO, on July 8th, 1935, daughter of Orville and Carrie (Wheeler) Stamper.
Lotis was united in marriage to Charles (Charlie) Hart on March 26, 1955. Lotis and Charlie moved to Deltona, Florida after retirement. They moved back to the Kansas City area in 2004. Six years ago, they moved to Tennessee to be closer to their son Charles (Doug) Hart and his family. Lotis was a devoted individual who dedicated her life to nurturing her family and creating a loving home.
Lotis was preceded in death by her parents Orville and Carrie Stamper; her husband Charles L. Hart; her brothers, Lawerance R. Stamper, Laymon A. Stamper Sr., Leslie C. Stamper, Arlie M. Stamper, James W. Stamper, Ralph C. Stamper; her sisters, Margaret E. Stamper, Audine F. Stamper, Shirley R. Stamper
Lotis is survived by her son Doug and Dawn Hart; grandchildren, Stephanie Hart, Joshua Hart (Amanda), Caleb Hart (Crystal), Bridgett Hickman (Rodney), Brant Fitzpatrick (Linda); her great grandchildren, Juliann Jones, Calonzo Edwards, Jakoby Hart, Keeva-Rey Hart, Micah Fitzpatrick, Peyton Fitzpatrick, Sylas Fitzpatrick, Neriah Fitzpatrick, Logan Hart, Lucas Hart; numerous nephews, nieces and special friends.
Lotis will be laid to rest Tuesday, November 18th, 2025, at Terrace Park Funeral Home & Cemetery, 801 N.W. 108th Street, KC, MO. The family will not be having a viewing or services.
