Lottie Louise (Cieless) Clark, age 81, of Millcreek, passed away at Sarah Reed Retirement Center on Friday, September 12, 2025. Born in Erie on February 27, 1944, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine Mary (Lokuta) Cieless.
Lottie was a graduate of Villa Maria Academy. She worked as a scheduler for Millcreek Family Practice and Forest Hills Family Practice prior to her retirement. She loved spending time with her husband, and was devoted to her three grandchildren. She enjoyed dancing, music, and the performing arts, and liked to travel. She was an avid gardener and very fond of flowers; she also greatly enjoyed decorating for holidays. Ten years ago, she suffered a catastrophic surgery that changed her life and significantly limited her mobility. Her relentless drive over the last decade to overcome her challenges inspired us all.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Elizabeth Coubrough and her brother Edward J. Cieless.
Survivors include her husband of 18 years, Michael J. Clark, Sr.; children, Amy J. Arrington, husband Brian, and Jennifer M. Wilson, husband William; stepson, Martin P. Clark; three grandchildren, Taylor Arrington, and Coleman and Evelyn Wilson; and many beloved sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to call at St. Andrew Church, 1116 W. 7th Street, on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Burial in Gate of Heaven Cemetery will be private. Lottie's family wishes to extend a "Thank You" to the nurses and staff at Sarah Reed and the UPMC Hamot Wound Services for their exceptional care.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Arrangements were handled by Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1595 West 38th St. Condolences may be expressed at www.bruggerfuneralhomes.com
