Mrs. Lou Adene Green-Shelton-Smith passed from this life on January 12, 2025. She was born in Gossburg, TN at home on October 23, 1925. She was born to Jesse Cleveland Green and Jimmie Ann Frazier Green. She was preceded in death by her parents and her three siblings Ernest Cleveland (Jessie Pearl) Green, Mamie Lenore (Claude) Burks, and Earvin Clarence (Thelma) Green. She was also preceded in death by her great-granddaughter, Deborah Jean Green. Survivors include her daughter Jimmie Louise Shelton (Lyndon) Mincey, one granddaughter Tara Louise Green (Terry), one grandson, Leonard Randall (Kristina) Moore along with one great-grandson Terry Lee (Kathy) Green II and four great-granddaughters Hannah Louise Green, Elizabeth Joyce Moore, Laura Lou Moore, and Kristina Lynn Moore.Lou was a very crafty person. She enjoyed basket weaving, crocheting, and painting. Funeral service will be held at Manchester Funeral Home. She ran a dental lab in Nashville. She loved gardening and planting flowers. She loved playing Rook with her friends. She loved a long, prosperous, Christian life. Shes a member of Fredonia Church of Christ. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend.The family will receive friends from 12 - 1 Saturday, January 18th at Manchester Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held at 1 p.m. in the chapel with Brother Stephen Ray and Brother Foy Rigney officiating. Donations may be made to Fredonia Church of Christ
