Louis “Louie” Edward Cantrell, 71 of Brooklyn passed away on May 17, 2024. Louie was born on August 25, 1952 in Baltimore to the late Clyde and Eileen Cantrell. He is survived by his beloved wife of almost 50 years, Beverly J. Cantrell; his sons, Shane Cantrell (Anna) and Colin Cantrell (Isabelle); his grandchildren, Ethan, Aidan, and Ian Cantrell; his siblings, Gary Cantrell (Linda) and Donna Cantrell Davis; and his black labrador retriever, “Jolene”. Along with parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Jean Ward and his brother-in-law, David Ira Davis.

 

Louie will always be remembered for his unwavering passion for sports, particularly the Baltimore Orioles and Ravens. He also had a love for music and fast cars which brought him joy.

 

The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. SW (at Crain Hwy) on Thusday, May 23rd from 2-4 & 6-8 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 24th at 1 PM in the funeral home chapel. Interment to follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. 

 

May Louis Edward Cantrell rest in peace, leaving behind a legacy of love and fond memories that will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
