Louis " Gino" Di Crescenzo was born in Guardiagrele, Italy on November 7, 1950 and passed away in Chicago surrounded by his many family members on December 24, 2024. Gino was a loving husband, father, nonno, brother and son. Gino is survived by his wife Maria, son Paul, son Louis Jr. (Lottie), son Anthony (Veronica), and daughter Stephanie (Vishal); along with his grandchildren, Louis, Amelia, Lottie, Leia, and Sienna. Son of the late Antonio and late Filomena; and his siblings Carmela, Antonietta, Giovanna, Giuliana, Nick and Maria; and uncle to many nieces and nephews. He was a history, politics, geography, classic music, poetry and soccer buff, and left behind a legacy of storytelling. Gino was also a huge foodie and could be found throughout the Chicagoland area at many different local establishments. There aren't enough words to describe the impact Gino had, not only on his family, but on friends and those who had the privilege of knowing and spending time with him. He will be dearly missed by all and we will keep his memory with us always. Visitation is Saturday, December 28, 2024 from 4PM to 8 PM at Foran Funeral Home, 7300 W. Archer Ave.(55th street just west of Harlem). Family and friends are invited to meet at 1:45 PM at Two Holy Martyrs Parish, St. Rene Goupil Church for a Mass at 2 PM.
