He was born March 15, 1936 in East St. Louis, IL, the son of the late Louis and Ann (Pilkus) Fellhauer. He married Kathleen McGehee November 15, 1980. She survives.
Also surviving is a daughter, Kerri (Gene) Rickert of Lebanon; two grandchildren: Logan (Lexi) Rickert and Braden Rickert; one great-grandchild, Connor Rickert; and four siblings: Gloria (the late Alex) Pranaitis of Carlyle, Art (Cheryl) Roe of Washington, David Roe of Indiana and Debbie (the late Tom) Hickman of Indiana. Louis is also survived by sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Marcia (Dennis) Dillard of Waterloo, Vicki (Mark) Hubbert of Florida, Sandy McGehee of Colorado, Bill (Lisa) McGehee of Colorado; many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Louis Fellhauer, Jr; a grandson, Michael Rickert; and two sisters: Deana Owens and Linda Newcomb.
Mr. Fellhauer was a diesel mechanic and was a veteran of the US Marines.
According to his wishes, his remains will be cremated and no services will be held.
