Martina "Tina" Boyer (nee Krause), 75, of Lebanon, Illinois, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 15, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Martina was born on November 12, 1949 to the late Martin and Virginia (nee Talbott) Krause.
Martina was preceded in death by her daughter, Samantha Boyer and her son, Michael Boyer. She is also preceded in death by her brother, Charles Hassenstab and her sisters, Sherrie Baker (nee Hassenstab) and Marlene Miller (nee Krause).
Martina is survived by her sons, Leonard (Camille) Boyer of O'Fallon, Missouri and T.K.; daughters, Tina Marie Boyer of Anna, Illinois and Catherine Jenkins (Robert Gayle) of Piedmont, Missouri; grandchildren, Ian Boyer, Katelin Boyer, Landon (Konnor) Jenkins, Gracee Deckard, and Hannah Tusing; great granddaughter, Taytum Jenkins; her siblings, John (Vivian) Hassenstab, William Hassenstab, Peggy Raffety, Martha Gallion, and Michelle (Richard) Rist; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Martina was the Queen Bee of the card game war. She loved playing bingo and working on circle word books. Her friends at Evercare of Lebanon will fondly remember her listening to her CD collection of classic country artists and watching the wildlife play outside. Martina will be remembered by anyone who ever met her for her extreme politeness and sweet demeanor. She was loved by so many and will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
A special thank-you to the staff at Evercare of Lebanon for always going the extra mile and taking great care of her; and a special thank-you to the ER staff at Memorial East for your sincere kindness and professionalism.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Millstadt Community Center on Sunday, October 5, 2025 from noon to 3 p.m.
