Louis "Louie" M. Grimaldi, Jr., 63, died Sunday, June 30, 2024, in his home in Horsham, Pennsylvania. He is survived by his two loving children, Paris Grimaldi and Jordan Grimaldi. He will be loved and remembered by his younger brothers (Gregory Grimaldi, Anthony Grimaldi, Guy Grimaldi, and Gino Grimaldi), his mother Elizabeth Grimaldi, his former wife of 20 years Francesca Francois, and many other loving family and friends.
He was born at home in Suffern, NY to Louis Michael Grimaldi, Sr. and Elizabeth Grimaldi. He grew up next door to his maternal grandparents, Edgar Milford, Sr. and Evelyn Milford. He enlisted in the army and was granted an honorable discharge after serving our country at home and abroad in Germany.
Louie will be remembered as a lifelong Yankees fan. He loved experiencing new foods. He deeply loved music, listening to it and playing it on his guitars. He will be celebrated as a father who loved to coach his son's, Jordan's, little league baseball team. He was a family-oriented man, as he enjoyed spending time with his family. One of his greatest achievements, according to him, was being able to be the caretaker of his grandmother up until her death. He will be ever thought of as a hard-working man who loved the outdoors, especially being outdoors with his family. He was trained in karate, which people will always remember about him. Many of us will remember his laugh. Louie loved to laugh, and his laugh was hearty and contagious. He will be missed by a multitude of family and friends.
Those who knew Louie, and want to honor who he was, are invited to his burial at Washington Crossing National Cemetery (830 Highland Rd, Newtown, PA 18940) on July 10th at 9:30 a.m. Prompt arrival is key as we don't want people left behind. Family and friends are welcome back to the home of Francesca, Paris, and Jordan afterward. Likewise, family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life on July 14th starting at 11:00 a.m. and going on for the remainder of the day.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages you to donate to a veteran's organization such as DAV (Disabled American Veterans) Charitable Service Trust or Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation.
