Louis H. Keyes, age 82, of Pensacola, FL passed away on June 3, 2024. He was born on March 13, 1942, in Baltimore City, Maryland, to Louis Henry and Catherine (Koontz) Keyes.
Lou was a man of principle and was known as a "Man's man". He had a successful career as a government contractor for several years before transitioning into private business as an electrical contractor. Lou was a graduate of Baltimore City High School. In his free time, he enjoyed playing golf and antiquing.
Old soldiers never die, they just fade away. He was a valiant soldier of life!
Louis was preceded in death by his parents, Louis Henry and Catherine.
Left to cherish his memory is his precious wife, Ramona Keyes. He was a good dog-daddy to Buttons and Pumpkin.
Monday, June 10, 2024, at Trahan Family Funeral Home of Milton, there will be a visitation starting at 12:30 p.m. with service to start at 1:00 p.m. He will be laid to rest at Barrancas National Cemetery aboard Pensacola NAS.
Charitable contributions can be made to Lou's favorite charities, Tunnels to Towers or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
